Basic
Terms
-All
rates are based on double occupancy in studios, and 1-4 occupants
in one-bedroom apartments.
-No fee is charged for infants under two years of age.
-No units are rented for parties and we have a no-pets
policy.
-These rates are per night, do not include tax, are not commissionable,
and are higher during major conventions.
-Overstays and late checkout (after 12 noon) without our prior consent
are charged at double the nightly rate.
-For Rack, Discount, and Off-Season Rates, add 15.4% tax (state
+ city tax), unless you will be staying longer than 29 nights. For
stays longer than 29 nights, add only the 3.5% City of Chicago
tax.
-Rates effective for reservations made for stays beginning March
1, 2007.
-Until reservation is made, rates are subject to change.
-We cannot confirm or take prepayments for reservations made six
months in advance of an actual stay.

Reservation
Prepayment Policy
To
make a 1-7 night reservation, we require prepayment of the first night's
charges. For more than 7 nights, a 15% prepayment is required. The balance
is due upon arrival. All reservations are subject to our prepayment,
cancellation, arrival, and check-in policies. We
accept Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and personal checks.
Cancellation Policy
When given
less than 7 DAYS' NOTICE, we charge a cancellation fee equal to the
prepayment,
unless we receive less than 24 HOURS' NOTICE. Then the cancellation fee
is equal to the first night's charges, plus
15% of the rest of the nights cancelled. When a block of four
or more suites is reserved, or when more than 29 nights are reserved,
30 DAYS' NOTICE is required to avoid the 15% cancellation fee.
Institutional Reservations
Institutions
with invoicing privileges are invoiced at the time the reservation is
made, and are not subject to the prepayment policy. The cancellation
policy applies. Refunds are made only after subtracting applicable cancelled
reservation fees. Invoice terms are net 30 days.
Arrival
Appointment and Departure Policies/Office Hours
We
receive arriving guests BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We must
know in advance our guests' arrival time. Unlike a hotel, our office is
not staffed seven days a week, nor is it staffed around the clock.
We
have strange office hours!
9:00
a.m. until noon; 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and
9:00 until noon Saturdays, otherwise we are in the office only
by appointment.
Check-in
and Departure Procedures
In
scheduling our staff to receive arriving guests, it is helpful to know
your flight, train, or other travel information. It is useful to know
how you will get from the airport or train station to Wooded Isle Suites:
taxi, car rental, picked up and driven here, Omega livery van, or public
transportation.
Check-in
is by appointment and after 3:00 p.m.; check-out is before noon. Overstays
and late checkout (after 12 noon) without our prior consent are charged
at double the nightly rate.
